Proprietary sterilization methods

The PASCO² sterilization process is a proprietary method validated under ISO 14937 to achieve a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10⁻⁶, without the use of irradiation. This process utilizes supercritical carbon dioxide technology to assist in the removal of residual materials from soft tissue allografts.

Through controlled conditions of pressure and temperature, the PASCO² process is designed to help preserve the structural properties of soft tissue allografts. This validated method supports a broad range of surgical applications, including sports medicine and other soft tissue procedures.

Additionally, AlexiGen’s portfolio includes grafts sterilized by low-dose gamma irradiation, validated to achieve SAL 10⁻⁶. This established method has been widely used in tissue banking to provide sterile allograft options for surgical use.
